Chris was up and at ‘em. Well, she was up. Not completely “at ‘em” right away. Nathan texted early on to see how she was doing. Her two good buddies from the Hawaii trip, KayLynn and Dianne, both checked up on her. Kel texted to touch base. Jim from church gave us a call to see how she was doing as well. Then Josh called and Christi texted. Not to mention all the other texts I got. In other words, my phone was blowing up.
Chris took a long nap in the afternoon. She needed it, for sure. I went over to Randall’s and picked up a prescription. This one was actually for me.
Last night Bob and Amber brought us over some dinner. Fish was involved (Are you surprised?), along with steamed veggies and rice and a fruit salad for dessert. It was all quite tasty.
Thanks so much to everyone who has been there for us with their presence, with food, and especially with their prayers.
1 John 1:9 says, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
Father, thank you for the progress Chris is making. Thank you for the love and concern people have shown. Amen.
