June 3 - “All at home”

After church we hosted a post trip debriefing session. Kel and his family came over (and provided the red beans and rice). They told us all about the mission trip to Alaska they just returned from. We told a little about our New Mexico journey.

For dessert, the kids had sno-cones. A few of the adults had ice cream. We figured out how to get Roku on our TV, so we were also able to watch the Astros snatch yet another defeat out of the jaws of victory. Pressley came through again … for the other guys.

We started binge watching a new series. This one is on Disney+. The Good Doctor. It’s the one about the autistic guy who becomes a surgeon. So far it’s been fascinating.

Genesis‬ ‭2‬:‭2‬-‭3‬ ‭ says, On the seventh day God had finished his work of creation, so he rested from all his work. And God blessed the seventh day and declared it holy, because it was the day when he rested from all his work of creation.

Father, thank you for bringing our family safely together again. That would be our Seaside mission team family and, well, us. Amen.
