We were back on the walking trail again. It was a little earlier than usual, so it was actually pretty nice when we started out. It didn’t take long to get to heating up, though. Not sure if it rivaled the 103 Chris and Sam saw the day before, though.
After the walk I went out back and attacked the shed. We’re gonna have to move it, at least when we replace the fence. I have wanted to throw away a lot of the accumulated junk out there. It is also a breeding ground for roaches of every shape and size - even the flying kind, Josh’s favorite.
Well, I managed to empty it out and toss quite a bit. Even found a rat carcass that had evolved into a nice leathery consistency. Not to mention the preponderance of roaches of numerous species and ages and sizes. So… I also hit the whole shed hard with roach spray. Chris stayed far away … far, far away …
Matthew 19:26 says, But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Father, thanks for protecting us in this heat. Amen.
