November 5 - “Greetings”

We got back on track again. Literally. We put in a two and a half mile hike around our neighborhood.

We got back home in plenty of time to greet the painters. They were back to take care of all the touch up spots that were marked by the contractor’s guys. And later the carpenter crew came to finish repairing the roof leak. Oh. And we also uncovered a pretty serious need to redo our deck. Guess we’ll forego a future cruise or two.

Chris had a physical therapy appointment in the afternoon. She also had to pick up her new glasses. That left me to babysit. Yep. Ezra was back for a few hours in the afternoon. Sibling voice lessons again.

We watched some TV (swamp people catching alligators), and of course we spent some time playing catch in the backyard. We had to be kind of careful to stay out of the painters’ way. The carpenter guys up on the deck actually took a break to watch us for a while. Afterwards, there may or may not have been a candy break. Fun kid.

And last night the electrician came to check out the dead outdoor switches. Took him about 30 minutes to diagnose and fix the switches words and tape the one that was rubbed barred. Glad to have that one checked off with a relatively small degree of drama.

‭‭1 John‬ ‭2‬:‭6‬ says, The one who says he remains in Him should walk just as He walked.

Father, thank you for that electrician, in particular. Bless him and his apprentice. Amen.
