Remember those two bathroom faucets we bought at Home Depot? Yesterday was installation. What’s that? Doesn’t sound like a big deal? Well … Maybe for some plumberly gifted folks. But we’re talking about me here. Now, I tackled the project with reckless abandon. What does that mean, you ask? It means I read the directions. And watched a You Tube video.
Didn’t really help. Oh, I got it done. But each one had its own “unique” problems, none of which were covered in the training manual. Don’t gripe too much about your plumbers, guys. Theirs is a tough job.
As if plumbing wasn’t enough,in the afternoon we actually did yard work. Yep. Mowing and edging at the end of November. Welcome to Galveston!
And like the Amazing Amazon she is, Chris also got the house cleaned up and ready for home group last night. What a girl!
Matthew 19:26 says, But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Father, I do thank you for that last second kind of wisdom in getting those faucets in. Certainly didn’t come from me. Amen.
