Ah. Daylight Savings Time. Always a day of ramshackle weirdness, especially for those who get up to attend church services. I always get a kick out of watching to see who shows up an hour early (or is it later? See! I’m already confused). I think it’s extra sleep day, right? Hope you enjoyed it.
We had quite a few visitors again in church. I connected with one guy who was raised Catholic. We shared our mutual confusion experiences (mine was Episcopalian, but close enough).
Ezra came over to our house after church until his folks could come get him for their home group. I asked him if he was coming over to take a nap. Nope. He intended to watch the football game. So … we watched the Texans. We also played a little kick and catch in the backyard with a tiny football. At least until an errant kick made its way into Alaska’s backyard. Alaska is the husky that lives behind us. Toy Donation to Alaska.
Psalms 56:3 says, When I am afraid, I will trust in You.
Father, thanks for our Ezra time last night. Amen.
