Deck guys were back, bright and early. Apparently they have a lot more to do than I thought. Glad we set up this work as a job bid rather than by the hour. It is really looking good, though.
We had to set aside part of our morning for a much-needed Walmart run. Other than the usual bananas, we needed a a little bit of everything. Plus, we had to begin accumulating what we need for the family Thanksgiving Feast. We only bought two turkeys, though. This time. There will be more to come before turkey fry day.
Chris had a physical therapy appointment in the afternoon. And she stopped to get her new glasses adjusted on her way home. I worked hard, too. She texted me when to do it, and I popped the chicken enchilada pie into the oven. Hot work, but somebody had to do it.
1 Corinthians 13:6 says, Love finds no joy in unrighteousness but rejoices in the truth.
Father, thank you for the way you have provided us with enough food for us to share at Thanksgiving. Amen.
