November 4 - “W.O.W.”

I had a weird start to my day yesterday. Woke up at 2:30. That would be in the a.m. One of “those nights,” I guess. I managed to doze off and on until 5:30 or so, when I finally gave up and got up. I can do with fewer of “those nights.”

We did follow up with a two miler. Probably could have gone farther, but Chris had W.O.W. class. New name there. Women Of Weights. And as Josiah so appropriately added, “Don’t leave out the S.”  See what he did there? However, Chris said there might be some men joining the class, so I suggested a few alternates. She took the list to class to get their opinions. Whiners on Weights didn’t go over so well. Neither did most of my other suggestions, although I can’t imagine why. They finally decided that they liked Warriors on Weights. Sounds powerful.

Chris had an oncology appointment in the afternoon. Everything was pretty much OK, I guess. The doc said Chris could go six months before the next visit, as long as she was faithful about taking her calcium/vitamin D pills. She will make that happen, for sure.

Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭19‬ says, Don’t collect for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal.

‭‭

Father, thank you for Chris’s good visit with the oncologist. Keep the good news coming. Amen.
