January 12 - “Gives us an edge”

I have officially started a new jigsaw puzzle. When Jachin was here doing yardwork, Chris asked him to move our table back inside. I started out easy. Easy on three fronts, actually. First, it only has 500 pieces. Second, we have done this one before, although it has been a long time ago. Finally, it’s all about Galveston. I figure that gives us an edge.

Chris had the doc appointment of the day. This one was with her sleep doc. Seems she had an extremely mild case of sleep apnea (Her number was 8.1, when normal is 5 and under).  The C-pap has been taking care of that number easily. Down to a 1 when she uses it. He showed her how to adjust the hydrating part of the machine, but he didn’t think it would make a difference for her dry mouth. Now it’s up to the heart doc whether she continues to use it or not.

From there we took Sam over to her appointment. She was scheduled for an MRI on her knee. Not far down the road. Now she has to wait and see what her doc says as well.

We stopped at Olive Garden for dinner. We just missed the lunch-sized portions, so we now have some pretty good-looking leftovers to chow down on.

Habakkuk 2:14 says, For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.

Father, thank you that Sam was able to get the MRI on her knee that she wanted. And thanks for the positive report for Chris from the sleep doc. Amen.
