We got our Sunday started by tuning in to services at Columbus Avenue Baptist Church in Waco (that’s Josh’s church, of course). Didn’t get to hear quite all of the sermon, though, since we pulled up at Seaside. Yep. Double whammy on the sermon front. Two Vaughan’s. Pow.
After church I was able to chat for a while with a few folks who don’t live in Galveston, but have come to Seaside off and on for many years. Great to see Dr. Bruce as well as Debbie and Dale. Ain’t church grand?
1 Peter 5:6-7 says, Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
Father, thank you for all the great believers we have connected with over the years. Amen.
