Back at the two miles again. Been a day or two, but we had a little bit better time than our last one. Getting there, I guess.
And as it turned out, that hike was the highlight of the day. Well, apart from lunch and dinner. And it certainly defeated working on the puzzle off and on all afternoon. Calm day.
Well, until the Astros game. After blowing an 8-3 lead, and the falling behind in the top of the 10th (which so far has been the death knell), the Astros won on a walk-off, pinch-hit home run in the 10th inning. Woohoo!
2 Peter 1:3 says, His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence.
Father, thank you for the calm. We need if every so often. Amen.
