We had some extra passengers for church yesterday. We drove into Texas and picked up Cailyn and Kenziedoodle George-Mae (or whatever that name was). I like this friend. She was wearing an Astros shirt. She also seemed to enjoy worshiping with Seaside. She said she wants to come back.
We
went out to get some barbecue after church with Sam, Cathy, Lauren, Cailyn,
Kenziferous, and Noa. Just me and the rest of the girls. Well … barbecue? The three younger girls ordered either fish
or chicken strips. I went for the fried okra and Mac and cheese. The ribs were
the icing on the cake for me. Chris had
chicken salad.
After
lunch we took the girls back to Cailyn’s house. And by girls, I mean Cailyn and
Kenzirific and Noa. Kenz went on home. From there the rest of us went to watch
Cailyn play indoor soccer. Good guys won that one 4–2.
Galatians 6:9 says, “Let us not become weary
in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give
up.”
Father,
please keep drawing Kenlee closer to you. Amen.
