April 7 – “Tyrone”

Tyrone is the owner of the Omega Bay house.  He is an amazing guy.  I called today to let him know that some of the floor tiles are breaking here at Omega Bay.  I was ready to pay what we could to get them replaced.  But he would have none of it.  In fact, he apologized to me and told us to be very careful.  He had already arranged to have the entire floor replaced, probably after we move out.  Then he hastened to say that we could stay as long as we needed to.

Tyrone has some back problems, so we have connected at that point in the past.  He's been getting acupuncture treatments, and they have been doing him some good.  That's quite different from the last time we talked.  He was in a lot of pain then.  Today he was laughing a lot.  I am really glad.  He is one likeable guy.

We took Mom to Luby's for lunch today.  April and Cailyn joined us.  Cailyn began asking for her DadDad shortly after we got in line.  So of course I picked her up.  We ended up dancing around Luby's to that Oldies music they play now.  She finally fell asleep in my arms.  I had a great lunch today.  I thanked Cailyn for a great date – dinner and dancing.

After we ate we went by the house to show off our wood floors.  They aren't finished yet, but the difference is already stunning.  They are gorgeous.  And they aren't even stained yet.  I heard April and Chris talking about the light at the end of the tunnel getting bigger and bigger.

Luke 6:45 says, "The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks."

Father, thank you for letting us have the chance to be a part of Tyrone and Judy obeying you.  They are truly an inspiration to us.  Amen.
