June 6 - “Good news on one front”

We made our way into Texas for another doctor appointment yesterday. Chris had to get herself and her equipment checked out by the sleep apnea guy. All was well. He said he was putting in his notes that the C-pap was doing its job. So Chris was released to her own devices (and the continued use of the C-pap machine) for a year.

After lunch Chris went to Walmart to take care of a return. I stayed home and checked out a Nanny McPhee movie. While she was gone, the bottom dropped out of the sky. We had an ark-load of rain during a really bad thunderstorm. Lasted several hours, too. Our grass was sure happy.

The rest of the evening was pretty calm for us. We watched a movie. Then we switched over to the Astros early game against Toronto. Six run first inning, highlighted by a grand slam home run. Lots of fun to watch.

Psalms‬ ‭51‬:‭10‬ says, Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

‭‭

Father, thank you for the good news on the C-pap front. One less thing to worry about. Amen.
