July 15 - “Into the AC”

We had a fair crowd at church, especially considering that there are still homes without power. We planned an outside service, but late last night the power came on at the church. Better to provide an air conditioned experience than an outside in the heat one, of course. So here’s to the 38 brave souls who came to worship. And sone of them were leaving after church to continue ministering to the community and even to the linemen.

Kel and his family came over after church for some tacos and sno-cones. Oh. And of course to watch the Astros game. Sadly. It was a pretty good game. It’s just that the bad guys won that one. Oh, well. It happens. And now … the All Star break. Maybe a few of our injuries will heal so we can get back to full strength. Thankfully, the Mariners have lost a few as well. That’s allowed us to stay close.

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭7‬ says, Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Father, bless those who made it to church. And especially bless the others who are still struggling with power issues. Amen.
