March 19 - “Trudged …”

We trudged through another two miles yesterday. I say “trudged” because we had to walk against a 60 mph freezing wind. Uphill both ways. And it got worse every time we turned a corner. OK. So maybe it wasn’t 60 mph. And maybe it wasn’t freezing.  But the roads in our neighborhood do shift a little higher toward the middle. Drainage and all. Bottom line … we walked two miles. Check.

After lunch I broke out a new puzzle. It’s a 2000 piece. Sam joined in the fun and started work on the perimeter while Chris and I went to Walmart to get some groceries. We finished the edge around 7 pm. That was enough. We retired to watch the Astros for a while, then switched to the cooking Tournament of Champions.

Acts‬ ‭10‬:‭43‬ ‭ says, To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.

Father, thank you for the cool weather for our walk. Felt really nice. Amen.
