August 22 - “Tiny legs”

Great time at Seaside for church yesterday. Always great to see the folks there after we have been on a trip. And to make things better, it was Third Sunday Dinner on the Grounds. Can’t beat good food. And to make things even more fun, I asked newly awarded driver’s permit driver Micah to bring the car up closer to the church door. I went with him, of course, and he did a very good job. Even drove between the pilings under the building.

Back at the house we had Sno cones and watched the Astros game. Good guys finally won one against the Braves.

Last night we took a walk around the block. Freddy came with us. Around the block.  That’s about her limit as far as distance is concerned. Tiny legs and all.

Joshua 1:9 says, Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Father, thank you for our church. Still feels like family … like home. Amen.
