We were at the glasses place bright and early yesterday. Chris is still having problems with the prescription they gave her. They checked the glasses she received with their machine to make sure the mistake wasn’t on their part. Then they had her go over to her eye doc’s window and make an appointment to see her again for an adjustment. Sadly, the soonest she can be seen is Thursday. Doesn’t bode well for new glasses before Hawaii. At least she can still use these until the new ones come in.
After a quick lunch at Whatburger, we headed north into Texas. Pretty far north, actually. Try Waco. AnnaGrace’s arm surgery was scheduled for early this morning, so we headed up for a quick overnight stay. The plan is for us to just be available, whether that means hanging out with the boys while Josh and Christi go to the hospital, or even going with the little patient and her mom and dad. Then we’ll head back home to our own hectic schedule.
3 John 1:11 says, “Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God."
Father, please be with AnnaGrace this morning. Help her to relax. And help her Mommy and Daddy to do the same. Amen.
