We started the day very quietly. Sam spent the night back at her house so she could get her kitty all settled back in. Most of the key repairs on her house have been completed, and she is really anxious to get back there.
Janell’s
mom, Janet, came over to check on Chris. She stayed for a half hour or so and
just chatted. Great having neighbors who care, even when they are just
house-sitting.
Sam
came back around 4:30. Just in time for supper. Chris talked her into trying
some baby Lima beans. Sam couldn’t bring herself to eat just a bowl of beans
and nothing else. “Beans are a side,” she insisted. So she ate some of her
leftover Italian food as well. She did complement the chef, though. She said
Chris had a way of making even the strangest things taste good. Sam’s not
wrong.
We
found out about supper time that AnnaGrace’s tumble that she took resulted in a
fracture after all. She has an appointment with an orthopedic elbow specialist
to get more specifics. Hmm. Is that our cue to head to Waco?

Peter
5:10 says, “And
the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you
have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong,
firm and steadfast.”
Father,
be with AnnaGrace as she deals with more doctors. Heal that little arm quickly.
Amen.
