June 24 - “Day Four: The Joseph Coaster”

 Burritos for breakfast now

Quiet time with God and how

Celebrate a brand new day

Bible study leads the way

I’m a nut.  I’m a nut,

I’m a nut, I’m a nut, I’m a nut

Clean bunk contest, please don’t frown

Marlena took home the crown

Brennan honored mention won

Josiah, too, with placement fun

I’m a nut.  I’m a nut,

I’m a nut, I’m a nut, I’m a nut

PK’s Bible story’s back

Joseph’s tale is on some track

Good then bad and it’s not fair

Ended up in prison there

I’m a nut.  I’m a nut,

I’m a nut, I’m a nut, I’m a nut

Through the times of down and up

You don’t want to drink this cup

When the bad days you find there

Know that God does always care

I’m a nut.  I’m a nut,

I’m a nut, I’m a nut, I’m a nut

Team rec time was some wet fun

Red and Yellow team both won

We took water games first heat

Cheered for yellow in defeat

I’m a nut.  I’m a nut,

I’m a nut, I’m a nut, I’m a nut

Free time split our little band

Some went on to arch’ry land

Others followed Mama Chris

Made some crafts, they never miss

I’m a nut.  I’m a nut,

I’m a nut, I’m a nut, I’m a nut

Pastor Stu a story said

Of a dream two pris’ners had

One came to good ol’ Cuphead

Next one fell to ol’ Breadhead

I’m a nut.  I’m a nut,

I’m a nut, I’m a nut, I’m a nut

Joseph read for them the dreams

Things aren’t always as they seems

Cuphead’s job he will get back

Breadhead, though, his head he’ll lack

I’m a nut.  I’m a nut,

I’m a nut, I’m a nut, I’m a nut

When things don’t for you go well

Will your attitude be swell?

Will you still your God obey

When things just don’t go your way?

I’m a nut.  I’m a nut,

I’m a nut, I’m a nut, I’m a nut

Late night rock climb, all ours try

Cailyn, Brennan rang on high

Brennan starred in soccer game

Marlena and Lex - the same

I’m a nut.  I’m a nut,

I’m a nut, I’m a nut, I’m a nut

Revelation 21:4 says, “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes.  There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

Father, thank you fo the way the kids have turned a way—too-serious competition into an opportunity to encourage each other.  Amen.
