August 17 - “Happy Birthday, Chris!!”

Happy birthday to my awesome wife! Love you, Chris.

Great day at church yesterday. We missed Kel and his family, but we managed to pull off dinner on the grounds with little fanfare. Well, except for me and Chris getting to go to the front of the line because of our August birthdays. Woohoo! Oh, and we got to chat with Susan and Daniel, some former Seasiders back for a visit. Good to see you guys.

Jachin came by for a while in the afternoon. He had a meeting after church, then had to go to work later in the afternoon. So he hung out with us to kill some time between the two. Always great to see one of our youngsters.

And so a new week begins. And sprinkled in between the doctor’s appointments and physical therapy, we have to continue the saga of rebuilding our finances. Now it’s a trip into Texas to the social security office to make sure no one has that stolen that information. Then back to the police to file the report with them and get a case number to give to the bank for their records.

Whew!

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭126‬:‭5‬ says, Those who sow in tears will reap with shouts of joy.

Father, thanks for the chance to see Daniel and Susan again. Bless them. And of course, bless that amazing wife you have given me.  Amen.
