We got in two miles yesterday. That was under seriously threatening cloud conditions. It never rained on us, but we sure heard some thunder after we got home. No real rain though.
I was up again for the doc in the afternoon. Just a recheck on my thumb and back pain, bloodwork, and that yearly Medicare form they have to have that asks all the “Have you fallen and couldn’t get up?” questions.
It took both arms to get all the blood they needed. The first one just dried up after two tubes. He also ordered some x-rays of my thumbs and gave me a referral to orthopedics to have them check me out.
We went right over to the nearest acceptable x-ray facility and took care of that. Strange positioning, to be sure. But I guess I held it long enough to get a picture.
Well, except for the upcoming call to schedule that orthopedic appointment. I took care of that when we got home. All done now for our trip.
So … Bring it on.
Joshua 1:8 says, This book of instruction must not depart from your mouth; you are to recite it day and night so that you may carefully observe everything written in it. For then you will prosper and succeed in whatever you do.
Father, thank you for helping us get through these last doc appointments. Amen.
