I had to take care of some bank business yesterday. I used the app to pay some bills last week. When I checked on the transaction history, one of the bills I thought I paid wasn’t listed. To be sure it wasn’t a glitch on their part, I called the help number. They assured me there was no pending order, so I took care of it. Guess it was my glitch.
We spent the afternoon at Ezra’s birthday party. All he wanted to do was play football. He invited six or seven little guys he knew. There were a few girls hanging around, too. The party was at Challenger Park in Webster. Very nice facility. Happy Eighth, Ezra.
On the way home we stopped at Mardel’s Christian Store. I was running dangerously low on birthday and anniversary cards. Fortuitously, the store was only about 5 minutes from the park.
Galatians 1:10 says, For am I now trying to win the favor of people, or God? Or am I striving to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a slave of Christ.
Father, thanks for Ezra. I sure do like that kid. Amen.
