What’s the secret to be bold
Even when out in the cold?
Be content in Jesus, see
Then step out.  He strengthens me

Grace is back in softball now

Plus outdoor games – gaga, wow!
Jason flew giant swing high
His entourage adored and sighed

Kara’s searching spiritual gifts

Then in soccer takes a hit
Espey’s team revenge does seek
‘Cause she took them all out, eek!

Mega Relay day today

Rec field bound, let’s go this way!
Find your team flag, do a cheer
Wild and crazy games are here

Mama Chris has camera out

Look at her and give a shout
Grace squeezed through the hula hoop
Kara passed the frog, whoop, whoop!

Espey zig-zagged through the line

Jason’s dirt dive looked so fine
When the fun came to a break
Had a cookout at the Lake

What an odd approach to gangs

Espey felt it with a bang
Picked out random folks around
Jumped and screamed them up with sound

Missions offering tonight

Grace and Jason gave ours right
Jesus says “I am the light”
Wipes out darkness without fight

When you trust in Jesus, then

Dispels darkness that’s within
Once his light is on inside
Through US Jesus does his shine

Last church group time here to make

We all said goodbye to Jake
Espey’s good words, PK’s too
Signed our rock, last thing to do

Psalms 36:5 says, “Your love, O Lord, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies.”

Father, thank you for a great week.  Thank you for these four great kids.  Thank you for my great wife.  You’re just … great.  Amen.
