I started the day by meeting Kel at the mechanic shop to drop his car off. He has to have the oil pan replaced. Apparently it’s a big job. Something about it being attached to the transmission. It’ll take a few days to finish. So, he needed a ride from there to work.
Back
at home it was that wonderful time again … time to mow the yard. We also trimmed a few trees. And Chris dove back into her flower
beds. We got hot, to say the least.
Speaking
of hot, I had to run over to WalMart and buy some fans. Not for us, though. They were for the retreat center. Apparently one of the rooms is having some air
flow issues that is making it get hot. I
met the group staying there. They are
from a Methodist church in Nacogdoches.
Fun folks. Helpful, too. They pitched right in and helped put the fans
together.
Chris
had another doctor’s appointment. This
time it was with an ortho guy to see why she has such pain in her shoulder, and
why it hasn’t gotten any better with physical therapy. Aaaaaand the verdict is in. She has a frozen shoulder. I know.
Sounds like something you’d get from a butcher shop. She had X-rays and a shot and has to do
physical therapy … again. This time the
therapy be different, though. Apparently
this doc has a highly specific regimen.
Here we go …
Jeremiah
31:25 says, “I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.”
Father,
thank you that the doc was able to identify the issue with Chris’
shoulder. Be with her as she wades
through the long process now of rehab.
Amen.
