We had a bit of a surprise at church. After the service Kel called Chris and me up to the front. He told everyone about our 50th anniversary coming up in Friday. Then he prayed for us. That was pretty special.
We spent the afternoon watching and washing. Watching the Astros game and washing clothes. Ordinarily Chris washes clothes on Mondays, but our plan is to head for Waco today. The dress rehearsal for AnnaGrace’s big dance recital is Tuesday. Since we can’t go to that one, Christi arranged for us to come up for the rehearsal. Should be fun.
Isaiah 53:5 says, But He was pierced because of our transgressions, crushed because of our iniquities; punishment for our peace was on Him, and we are healed by His wounds.
Father, please ride with us to Waco this morning. Amen.
