June 4 – “Happy Anniversary, Mom and Dad”

Today is my Mom and Dad’s wedding anniversary.  Not sure how many years it would have been, but they got to do a big fifty years celebration before he died.  They spent many anniversaries watching me play baseball, so I still appreciate their sacrifice.  Love you, Mom and Dad.

It’s a real short one today.  I’m going to head to the beach and try some fishing.  We used up our last stash when Josh and his family was here last week, so I have some replenishing to do.

Psalms 93:5 says, “Your statutes stand firm; holiness adorns your house for endless days, O Lord.”

Father, thank you for the model of marriage I had to follow.  Amen.
