We had kind of a small crowd at church yesterday. A little over 50. I met one couple in town from Oklahoma. Another couple just moved to the area. And a third has been to Seaside several times before, but it has been a long time.
The Astros game was on in the early afternoon. Sad outcome. Bad guys won 4-2.
The highlight of the afternoon came when Micah gave us a call from Lynchburg. He was just chatting away about school and the extra-curricular activities they provide. Sounds like he is really plugging in masterfully. Can’t wait to see him whenever he gets to come home next.
Acts 1:8 says, But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
Father, thanks for the chance to connect with Micah. Watch over him. Amen.
