September 30 - “Picking up the pace”

Well, that was different. I slept until 6:15 yesterday. I can’t remember the last timed I slept in that long. Guess I was exhausted or something.

But it gave me some energy for our morning walk. Back to 3.2 miles again. Chris is really picking up the pace out there, too. We finished in a tad under an hour. That’s pretty good for us. Not so impressive to Mr. Cross Country Luke, but we’ll take it.

Chris has her strength training class, so I spent a few hours working on the next two Bible studies for home group. Pays to stay ahead of that crowd. I also addressed birthday cards to be sent out.

After lunch Chris did some sewing. I worked some more on the jigsaw puzzle. It’s a big one. But as long as I get one piece a day, I am happy.

Today I have to go back to court … again. Still trying to finish out all the final details from Sam’s estate. This one should be the last time. Here’s praying for that end.

‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭2‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ says, For there is one God and one mediator between God and humanity, Christ Jesus, Himself human, who gave Himself — a ransom for all, a testimony at the proper time.

Father, please go before us and work out the situation so the will stuff can be completed today. Amen.
