May 15 - “RR Crossing”

We got kind of a late start leaving Waco. We finally pulled out around ten. Noa got snuggled in with a book and with every intention of getting some sleep. Her allergies really did a number on her over the past few days.

We had a first. We were stopped in Hearne by a really long train. In all the years we have been taking this route, that was the first time we had ever had to stop for a train.

Once we got past that, though, it was pretty smooth sailing. We had lunch at Buc-ees, then back on the road. We were even a little early dropping Noa off at her swim lessons. And bonus! We got to stay and watch her and Ezra swim.

James‬ ‭1‬:‭12‬ ‭says, A man who endures trials is blessed, because when he passes the test he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him.

Father, thank you for the safe trip back home. And keep those Waco folks safe in all that heat up there. Amen.
