Yesterday was scheduled as our (IAVD) Insurance Adjuster Visit Day. He said he would be here between eight and nine in the morning. I had my list all ready to ask him about.
He was a very personable guy. Hit it off with Freddy after a slow start. He did a really thorough inspection of the roof and our fences and the big broken tree branch and even the barbecue pit and shed. He wrote it all up and sent in on to the next level. He said to expect “a packet” in maybe three weeks. So now we move ahead with some repairs (fences?) or wait a bit on others (roof?), so that our contractor can take a look. Hurry up and wait.
Luke 6:38 says, Give, and it will be given to you; a good measure — pressed down, shaken together, and running over — will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.
Father, help us with patience and money to cover these repairs. Amen.
