Since it looked to be a day at home for us, we started it out with walking for a couple of miles. Always a fun time to experience together.
Back home, Chris got started on trying to create a stuffed animal based on a random creature drawing that AnnaGrace did. Hey. If anybody can figure it out, Chris can.
I spent the time engaged in three separate pasttimes. First I worked on the sermon for a while. Trying to get just the right props.
Then I worked for a while out in the garage, trying, however unsuccessfully, to make some room to turn around out there. We have all our Christmas decorations out there - just aching to be thrust about. Just a few more weeks. Gotta get through Thanksgiving first.
Finally, I did the really difficult chore. Watched a Hallmark movie or two. Love those Christmas movies.
Oh! And the potentially great news. We received a call from Home Depot to let us know we are scheduled for a fridge delivery between 10 and 2 today. I say “potentially” because we have been disappointed more than a time or two already. So … we’ll see.
John 14:27 says, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Your heart must not be troubled or fearful.
Father, please grease those wheels for the fridge delivery and help it get here in good shape. Amen.
