No walk yesterday. We woke up to several rounds of pretty hard rain. Can’t call them thunderstorms, though. Didn’t hear any thunder. Just wetness.
I did get some stuff checked off my list. I changed the switch in the kitchen that stopped working. Didn’t help. Yep. That puts it effectively above my pay grade. I replaced the original and we’ll just live with it, I guess. No electrical adventuring for me, thank you very much.
I also finished wading through the pile of stuff we brought here from Sam’s houses. Basically amounted to sorting genealogy stuff. She had quite a load of research. The plan is to get the materials into the hands of the respective sides of her family.
And finally, all that activity led to the ultimate result of clearing off my puzzle table. When we get back from the convention in Waco, I foresee a jigsaw puzzle in my future. Or maybe 5 or 6 …
And now to review the sermon again. It’s been a while since I had a chance to preach at Seaside. Kinda looking forward to it.
Colossians 3:12-13 says, Therefore, God’s chosen ones, holy and loved, put on heartfelt compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, accepting one another and forgiving one another if anyone has a complaint against another. Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you must also forgive.
Father, please draw the folks you want to be at church this morning. Fill me with your Spirit so what I say will reflect you. And please give us a safe trip to Waco this afternoon. Amen.
