January 17 - “Wrapping up”

I took advantage of the beautiful sunshine to  … wrap our pipes in preparation for the alleged impending freeze next week. I had done of those fabric caps for the faucets, but for the pipes? Good ol’ newspaper and duct tape. Should hold us down to the high 20’s, anyway. At this point our worst actual temp is predicted to be 35. But, oh those wind chills. Down close to ten at one point. Nope. Just nope.

We took further advantage of the great weather and made a trip to Walmart. I know. I know. We were inside. But we had to walk to the car and back, didn’t we?

‭‭Hosea‬ ‭10‬:‭12‬ says, Sow righteousness for yourselves and reap faithful love; break up your unplowed ground. It is time to seek the Lord until He comes and sends righteousness on you like the rain.

Father, looking ahead to that cold snap … would you show us how best to stay warm?  Amen.
