Started yet again with a two miler. Tried to keep it at or under 19 minutes per mile. I know. Easy peasy for you youngsters out there. But our overall goal is under 40 minutes for the whole distance, so we are good.
I guess our big excitement for the morning came when the claw truck arrived and picked up our massive pile of limbs. That was followed soon after by the regular garbage pickup. I think our front yard looks very different. Bigger, somehow.
We made a Walmart run. Yep. Bananas on the list. We needed milk more than bananas this time, though. And Chris wanted to check out the Garden Center … of course. We did see Roger and Angela from church there. Always good to chat with friends.
Matthew 21:13 says, And He said to them, “It is written, My house will be called a house of prayer. But you are making it a den of thieves!”
Father, thanks for the chance to see and talk with Roger and Angela. Bless them. Amen.
