Chris was definitely up with the chickens yesterday. She was in my world, for sure. Why so early? She had another doc appointment. At 7 a.m., no less! It was actually for a mammogram and ultrasound, and they told her to spread the word to all the women she knew to go get a mammogram, so here’s the word. Go get a mammogram.
On
the way home we stopped for some gas in the car. All this medical mileage, you
know? Also grabbed some coffee K-cups (on sale at Randall’s) and picked
up a prescription for me.
From
there we pulled into Walmart to get “just a few things on the list.” List
or no, it’s next to impossible to pick up “just a few things” at Walmart. So a
basketful of groceries and a few hundred bucks later, we headed on home.
Romans 5:3-5 says, “Not
only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering
produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And
hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our
hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”
Father,
thank you for guiding docs all over the place as they do what they can to help
patients. And yesterday … especially Chris. Amen.
