Well, once again. Yep. Back to Walmart. We were on a mission to pick up some of those inevitably pesky last minute gifts. We were somewhat successful. Still have to do some fine-tuning, though. Return some wrong sizes. Go back for the things we forgot to look for. Run into some more friends. This time it was Gregg and Cathy from church. They were looking for Christmas shirts. Don’t know yet if they were successful. They were planning to wear them to church today, though, so we’ll find out soon.
Back home we tackled the now-huge task of wrapping gifts. And by “we” I mean primarily Chris. I did wrap my Dad gifts, always an “interesting” endeavor. I still have one I’m trying to locate, but I don’t need it until the 27th. And I do have a backup plan. And Chris finished the gifts that we did have. So … back to Walmart on Monday.
Matthew 1:21 says, She will give birth to a son, and you are to name Him Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins.
Father, thank you for the joy of giving fun things to fun people. Amen.
