We walked again. I know. Same old story. Guess it’s not hurting us, though. At least the cardiologist was impressed the other day. I suppose that made it worth it.
Oh, and speaking of cardiologists, I said in yesterday’s post that Chris had an appointment with her cardiologist. Oops. Not so. It was the oncologist. I got the nurse practitioner part right, at least. (And I snuck into the blog site and changed it. Now no one will ever know).
We did add a little time working in the backyard. Chris ripped out some fast-growing, offending weeds. I filled some slow-growing, encroaching holes with the dirt we bought the other day. Necessary, but not too exhausting.
After lunch we did our errands run. First stop was back to the funeral home to pick up the Gideon New Testaments to give away next week. Thanks, Carnes Brothers, for being the conduit there.
Next we made a quick revisit to Randall’s pharmacy. I know we were just there, but I got a text from their computer that a prescription for me was ready. Can’t let those go too long, or that computer starts calling me.
Finally it was down to the good stuff. Yep. Walmart. We wanted to find something to give to Ezra when he has his tonsils out on Tuesday. Think we found just the thing. What? No. I’m not telling. That’ll ruin the surprise.
Psalms 139:13-14 says, For it was You who created my inward parts; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will praise You because I have been remarkably and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful, and I know this very well.
Father, please bless the guys down at Carnes Brothers (and the Gideons) for donating those New Testaments. Amen.
